He has participated in several exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He is married and father of one child. 44 Kostas Grigoriadis He was born in Athens in 1965. He studied interior design at the Technological University of Athens. He has been creating sketches and political cartoons since 1987. His work has been published in the newspapers Odigitis and Anagnostis and the magazines Nea Oikologia, Stigma and Diaναzo. Since 1990 he is working as a cartoonist at the daily newspaper Rizospastis. He has also published an album about ecology, titled Oikologika.
56 Yannis Ioannou Born in 1944 in Thessaloniki, he studied architecture at the Aristotelian University and received his degree in 1968. P. in Paris and worked there for various architectural offices until 1975. During his stay in France, he experienced the revival of the political cartoon and he developed an interest in social satire. On his return to Greece, he worked professionally as a cartoonist; at the beginning for the magazine Anti and then for various newspapers and magazines in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Moreover, he is on the editorial staff of the satirical annual booklet Blaoeksprutten (the Octopus), which is being published for 116 years. In 1993, Carlsberg presented Jens Hage with their mark of distinction to Danish illustrators, The Golden Drawing Pen, and in 2002 he received the Danish part of the 15 EEC awards Best European Cartoonist in Forte dei Marmi, Italy. 36 e ec e r g Giorgos Akokalidis He studied at the Doxiadis School in Athens and today he lives in Thessaloniki, where he works as a graphic artist and cartoonist.
